Boat-building Contest
From 1:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday, children are invited to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Kayak Festival's Boat-Building Contest! Each youngster will get cardboard and one roll of packing tape, from which he or she must build a stable floating watercraft. We'll have a cardboard boat race at 4:00 PM, where competitors will be judged on style, innovation, speed, and time afloat.
